Is is right for me?
Chemical peels are fantastic for addressing an array of skin issues such as dullness, uneven texture, mild acne, sun damage, pigmentation, and fine lines. The versatile solution for anyone aiming to enhance their skin's health and appearance. Following a consultation, Dr Rachel will create a bespoke peel plan from PCA skin, ranging from superficial acid peels to prescription medium depth acid and Retinol peels.
What is involved?
After Cleansing your skin, the selected peel solution will be applied to your skin, with a tailored method. You may experience some tingling, or heat temporarily which will settle. Your skin is soothed with a protective moisturiser and sunscreen.
Which areas can be treated?
Chemical peels are incredibly versatile. The appropriate peel can be used on the face, neck, décolletage, back and hands commonly.
How Long until I see the results?
After the treatment, your skin should feel smoother and more radiant within a week or two. You might notice some initial redness, followed by roughness and peeling in the next few days. Peeling occurs sometimes, but not always, and it’s important to keep the skin hydrated and protected with daily SPF.
